Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be a quiet presence in Chuck's room. Seriously, for those of you volunteering to sit with Chuck, he is not thrilled with people right now. Your main goal is to be a presence that the nursing staff notices. Yes, Chuck gets adequate care. However, he gets better care when someone is present. It's the way of the world...no biggie.

The less of a noticeable presence you are (to Chuck), the better. If he wants to talk to you, he'll let you know!

Thanks! (Did I use the word presence enough in this post?? Not sure.)
