Chuck is doing remarkably well. He is more "himself" than he has been since we've been back in San Antonio!
Chuck is still in the ICU. He'll remain there until he can maintain stability for 24 hours with no help from cardiac drugs (to keep his heart rate down).

My name is quite simple. It is Jan. However, coming from the Texas Panhandle, I pronounce my name with two syllables. The "correct" way to say my name is Jay-uhn. Thus, when I introduce myself as Jay-uhn, I am often misunderstood. "Jane, Janine?" people ask. "No," I respond, "just Jan."
