- No fever!
- He looks more comfortable with the trach collar. His time ranges from 20-30 minutes.
- Earlier today, Dr. Taylor was able to pull about 1 liter of fluid from around Chuck's left lung. This should greatly help with Chuck's breathing.
- Dr. Taylor is currently getting some samples, as well as a visual, of the inside of Chuck's lungs. He is checking for infection of any sort.
- The rumor is that we might be moving to a hospital in SAN ANTONIO!!!!! Of course, we are being cautiously optimistic. The social worker here is amazing ... oh so helpful. First, Chuck will go to a specialty hospital ... to wean off the ventilator. Then, onward to a rehab hospital. Eric feels comfortable directing Chuck's physical therapy from here. Of course, I will keep you posted.
